I’ve worked in the retail industry for over 15 years now, and although I’m originally from Egypt, I’ve spent most of my life living and working in Dubai and Kuwait. As I advanced in my career and started interacting with senior leaders and executives, I began to feel nervous and unsure of myself. There were moments when I struggled to articulate my thoughts in meetings, often speaking too much, too little, or not saying anything at all. I had so many ideas but feared voicing them in case I said the wrong thing. This lack of confidence started to take a toll on both my professional and personal life.

That’s when I came across Kapable and its transformative program. As an HR professional, I’ve always believed that 70% of learning comes from practice and interaction—and that’s exactly what this program delivered. I had the chance to participate in role-playing, practice, and receive personalized attention that truly made all the difference.

Through one-on-one sessions with multiple trainers and focused learning, I learned how to structure my thoughts using mind mapping and other effective techniques that helped me focus, especially while managing my ADHD. One key learning was how to be assertive while also staying empathetic. I used to confuse assertiveness with aggressiveness, but this program helped me see the difference and showed me how to articulate my needs confidently without losing emotional connection.

The group sessions were equally valuable. Being able to interact with others, learn from their perspectives, and share my own journey gave me insight into my growth and theirs. I gained practical tools that taught me how to influence, motivate, and engage my leaders and teams by showing them what’s in it for them. It felt empowering to know how to connect with people and share value in a meaningful way.

Over the past four months, I’ve grown tremendously. The transformation has been evident—not just for me, but for my colleagues and leaders as well. They’ve noticed the difference, and even the way I engage with them has shifted. Sharing what I’ve learned with them has been an incredible part of this journey.
